Analytics Challenge
I participated in the 5th annual IBIT challenge also known as the analytics challenge. My group and I worked on the “How can you predict which movies will be a hit or a bust?” question. It took us about a month to collect and clean all the dirty data. We then used software such a tableau and excel to organize the data. We then presented our findings by creating an info-graphic using Piktochart. This would be interesting to an MIS professional because it showcases my abilities in working with analytics and dirty data. I learned how to clean data and utilize software such as tableau.
