Work Experience
In the pastm, working full-time for DirecTV and then AT&T provided me with a broad range of experience in a major corporate environment. It allowed me to see how HR and change management processes move, and how every department of a business needs to have good communication with each other to be successful. Day to day I provided corporate users and call center employees with desktop support, troubleshoot and escalated issues, and also managed various user accounts.
Within the last year, I accepted a full-time role as a Systems Engineer for LifeShield Inc. My previous experience allowed me a comfortable transition into a sys admin role with the new company, this new jobs allows me to continue to grow off of the foundation I built. Day to day, I am responsible for managing Windows and Linux servers, maintaining databases, improving business processes and many others. Having firsthand experience in making business decision and seeing how they affect other departments has given me a greater appreciate for the business background that MIS provides.
