Prudential Internship
For the Summer of 2014 I interned at Prudential Financial Inc. I worked in their Global Business and Technology Services division under the Server Operations Projects Team. My team were the analysts between the business partners and the Server Operations team performing the work on the servers. We managed projects as requests for new servers and upgrades came in as well as worked on initiatives for Server Operations. I was responsible for managing projects to refresh servers off of Windows 2003 and servers on hardware that was out of warranty. I also worked on building and upgrading new servers as requests from business partners came in. I completely took over the commissioning of servers, where I performed quality assurance checks before moving the server online.
