At Five Below, I worked as a part of the Desktop support team. I was required to manage corporate users as well as field users in Active Directory and assign permissions based on their positions. I also worked to image, configure and deploy laptops for new hires. I assisted with various desktop issues that include hardware, software, files, and email issues. For certain field users, I was in charge of configuring and managing iPads through Microsoft Azure.
Over the summer, the Infrastructure Systems team began migrating users from local data centers to the cloud on Office 365. I was in charge of making sure this transition was as smooth as possible for over 700 users. This included assigning permissions and assisting these users with any 365 issues.
I worked closely with my team and learned a lot of the different systems in place that are used to manage a corporate environment. This as well as my close work with Active Directory and servers related to Enterprise IT Architecture where we used Azure and managed workstations.
