Intern at Broadview Networks
For the summer of 2016 I interned as a Customer Operations Intern at Broadview Networks located in King of Prussia. I was apart of the Service Delivery team at Broadview and worked mainly with Project Managers. These Project Managers worked on orders/projects and acted as the liaison between the client/customer and other departments. They had to coordinate when installs would be and inform the customer of these dates and due dates. I was mainly involved in inspecting late orders and determining a reason why an order was late and then applying a code to it. These reason would then be inspected to see what the company could improve on. I also did a bit of revenue reporting and shadowed other members including some in IS/IT departments. Overall, I learned a lot from this internship. I came out with tons of telecom knowledge and about how a business works. Another important thing that I learned is that every department in a company ties together one way or another; if one department did not exist, everything would not run smoothly and there would be many problems. Each department plays its role! I enjoyed my time at Broadview greatly and met a lot of great people and the experience I had here will definitely help me in my future endeavors.
