Organizations
Association for Information Systems (AIS), Fall 2015 – Present
Last fall, I became a member of AIS and have been a member since. AIS is a student professional organization for those that want to pursue a career in Management Information Systems. AIS offers plenty of opportunities such as weekly speaker series meetings with different companies, workshops that help further knowledge of the MIS major, and many other opportunities to get you involved.
Beta Pi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Fall 2015 – Present
Beta Pi Phi is a Asian-interest fraternity founded on Temple campus. As a member, I strive to embody the five pillars of Beta Pi Phi which are: Academic Achievement, Brotherhood, Cultural Awareness, Leadership, and Personal Growth. We do many community service events that give back to the community one of them being our “Chinatown cleanup”. As for philanthropy, Beta Pi Phi seeks to End World Hunger. Each semester we host a philanthropy week with a focus on ending world hunger.
Temple Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) Fall 2013 – Present
Temple Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) is an organization that I am very proud to be apart of. As a Vietnamese-American, I quickly found my place in Temple VSA and their goals to promote Vietnamese culture throughout the community. VSA does a lot to give back to the community with many community service events. There are many conferences that are held which is a great way to network with people all throughout the northeast. I have been a member since I started college and have held the role of Events Coordinator.
