Work Experience
While attending Drexel University I was able to secure to very highly demanded full time positions at NRG and Deloitte. The amount of knowledge and expertise that was shared with me during that time was truly incredible. These two positions have done a lot for my career path by showing me exactly what to expect and what I should pursue after graduation.
NRG Energy
I worked at NRG from Fall of 2015 to Spring of 2016 as a Database Developer. My tasks included, but were not limited to, the following:
• Designed and architected solutions to support business needs
• Supported production and aided in source code control
• Developed database code, SSIS packages and SSRS tools
• Contributed to the development team that uses an agile approach to resolve issues and enhance enterprise systems
Deloitte & Touché
I had a great opportunity to work at Deloitte & Touché from Fall of 2016 to Spring of 2017 as a Assurance Technology Risk Consultant and had the following experiences:
• Analyzed control processes relative to governance mandates, firm policies, and industry standards and produced SSAE 16 reporting for clients.
• Managed General Information Technology Controls audits in accordance with AICPA and PCAOB standards in conjunction with financial audit teams.
• Performed General Information Technology Controls testing on Linux, Unix, SQL, Oracle, Active Directory, and various business applications.
• Inspected management’s workpapers to validate that controls activities for General Information Technology Controls areas have been appropriately tested by the clients.
• Conducted market research for ten potential clients in Greater Philadelphia area by utilizing Deloitte KX tools and presented three best prospective companies to senior leadership for Deloitte Philadelphia’s client portfolio growth
