Washington Redskins is an “insensitive” name for a football team
Hillary Clinton believes the Washington Redskins football team needs to find a new name, stating that it’s an “insensitive” name for a team in the nation’s capital.
“I think it’s insensitive, and I think that there’s no reason for it to continue as the name of the team in our nation’s capital,” Clinton said in an interview with Fusion‘s Jorge Ramos posted online Tuesday. “I would love to see the owners think hard about what they could substitute.”
When asked by Ramos for any suggested alternate team names, Clinton came up empty-handed.
