AIS Intern
- Information about the organization: AIH is a subsidiary of Cancer Center Treatment of America. It is located in North Philadelphia, Wyoming Ave. CTCA has about 5 locations spanning from Philadelphia to Atlanta, Tulsa, Phoenix, and Chicago. I worked for the AIH department.
- Job function: My role in this organization was to prepare excel sheets of patient information. Also, update the funds and investments for a new fiscal year. I helped coordinate patient activities; coming up with games and fun activities. My overall task was to analyze how many patient retentions we kept and to analyze if members we signing up for our newsletter.
- Examples of project(s): The one project I was proud of was when I along with colleagues coordinated an event for patients where they received a certificate which allows them access to the churches connections.
- What you learned and how it relates to your major: This internship experience relates to my MIS 2101 course. I gained experience in my analytical skill. This relates to my major (MIS) because of this, I was able to know how to properly solve and access problems.
