Personal Interests
My Personal Interests and Hobbies:
My personal interests are mainly in the automobile industry.
I follow car news on everything from family compacts to high-end super-cars on a regular basis through magazines and online sources.
If I had to narrow it down, my passion for cars stems mainly from my hobby of working on customized sport-tuner cars.
Presently, I drive a WR Blue Pearl 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STi that is lightly modified to about 385 BHP & 415 BTQ. The car only has a small displacement 2.5 Liter flat-4 cylinder engine, but will do 0-60 in 4.2 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 12.6 seconds . My future goal is to reach about 440 BHP and 500 BTQ and to lower my 1/4 mile times to mid-high 11 seconds through practice and further upgrades.
Aside from my interest in cars, I also enjoy working on computers; I’ve been playing around with them since I was 8 years old!
My current PC is a bit dated, but it is assembled and wired by myself, featuring a i7 950 processor running very cool at 4.2 ghz.

I think at the root of everything, all of my personal interests stem from my love of tinkering around with things. Aside from computers and cars, I also have a deep interest in military firearms and precision rifle shooting. Unfortunately, living around Philadelphia doesn’t me many opportunities to develop my marksmanship beyond 200 meters. In the future I hope I can work my way up to being on target at 600 meters and eventually 1,000 meters and beyond.

My Career Interests and Aspirations
I am most interested in pursing a career working with data and numbers and figuring out how to make sense of them.
I have a specific interest in the field of Applied Statistics and Database Programming and will be pursuing a Master’s degree after I complete my BBA coursework.
I aspire to be like my mother, she has been the biggest positive influence in my life. We left China as immigrants with an unknown future and very little money and over the last 2 decades my mom has been instrumental in securing us a stable life here in the United States.
Other inspirational figures that I look up to include:
Dr. Britton Chance, University of Pennsylvania
F. William McNabb III, Vanguard
James C. Walker, Octagon Research Solutions
