TEMPLE UNIVERSITY DATA ANALYTICS CHALLENGE

  • Enlisted three additional classmates into a small team involved in a university-wide competition with countless other groups in pursuance of an opportunity to gain experience of working with information systems
  • Analyzed given data sets and produced possible solutions to companies to help improve performance in industry
  • Gained valuable knowledge from working with others as well as learned new ideas that can be applied to future projects

AIS NATIONAL COMPETITION

January 2018 – March 2018

  • Worked in a small group comprised of two other AIS members through a case study about computational technology’s impact on individual well-being
  • Researched data to understand how technology affects well-being, both negatively and positively as well as both emotionally and physically, in order to explain our conclusions and create graphics which described our findings

  • Collaborated remotely with other IT Interns to develop a Machine Learning based Pricing Model to suggest product prices to the Pricing Team in order to stay competitive in the market
  • Acted as the lead Project Manager to 14 other IT Interns by organizing a JIRA board to stay organized, facilitating all group meetings, and communicating with numerous internal QRG resources to fill knowledge gaps
  • Assisted PCI colleagues with leading the 2020 QVC UK Assessment by arranging all interview meetings and taking Meeting Minutes for the team to further discuss and ensure that the UK market is compliant with PCI DSS Security Standards Council
  • Completed an exception review and DREAD assessment to identify & research vulnerabilities to evaluate the severity of a potential security threats

  • Facilitated the Management Information Systems department office by executing tasks needed to be completed for 6.5 or more hours a week, like organizing items to be ready to ship to conferences or compiling multiple Excel spreadsheets into one document

HEAD LIFEGUARD, Newtown Athletic Club, Newtown, PA

  • Promoted to highest lifeguard position titled Headguard which required supervision of 5 or more lifeguards on duty per shift, being first to respond to any situation, as well as administering first aid care to patrons
  • Maintained pool order while communicating with other lifeguards on duty and allocating tasks to other guards
  • Acquired a lifeguarding certification after finishing an extensive lifeguarding course to prepare for any situation someone might encounter when guarding a pool

CHILDCARE PROVIDER, Private Residences, Bucks County, PA

April 2015 – August 2018

  • Delivered quality care services to families with multiple children by assisting with homework after school as well as preparing snacks and meals for the children
  • Communicated with parents frequently and interacted with children regularly, gaining trust and affection from families
  • Secured multiple reoccurring babysitting jobs for families with young children through Care.com, a website allowing families to find all types of care needed
