May 2010 – Present
Customer Service Representative
The summer of 2010, I started working in a small CVS in New Providence, NJ. I didn’t work there long until I had to come back to school. Luckily enough, I got transferred into one of the most busiest CVS pharmacies in the Philadelphia-area: South Street. From then on, I worked every Friday-Sunday night handling the South Philly wanderers and tourists that come in. It involved lots of getting to know people and manual labor, but it’s been one of the most fulfilling job experiences I’ve had.
I don’t work there as often now, but here are some of the things I do:
- Provide customer service for a high volume retailer of household, personal products and pharmaceuticals; handling sales of up to $12,000 per day
- Assist customers in item location, pricing, refund, and purchase.
- Manage the placement of merchandise of up to four aisles in-store, processing up to 70 trays filled with products within a five hour span.
