Everyone has a reason for why they do things.
I find myself motivated by one dominating value: my family.
I grew up in a culturally Hispanic household, raised by my ever-reliable mother with 3 brothers.
My Mother: Margarita Rojas
She has always been the largest influence in my life. My mom grew up in nothing less of impoverished conditions in Guatemala; a country ripped apart by a civil war from 1960 – 1996. My mom sought a better future for her and her children and found refuge in the United States around 1980. Because of her, I have never lacked in support in anyway. I see the conditions that she brought herself out of and I strive to do the same.
