Project: GroupUp
For our final Management Information Systems class, MIS 4596 – Information Systems Integration, we were tasked with creating a theoretical digital product. During the class, we were able to develop a prototype of our product, GroupUp, seeing the project from start to finish and supplying full documentation. Our product, GroupUp, is a social-academic application that provides students with a platform aimed to increase collaboration in and out of the class room. During the process, I learned a great deal about the complexity of projects including the importance of a strong value proposition, delivering on a full-proof end product, and the benefits a team provides in working in a collaborative environment.
