IT Department – CRM Intern

  1. Job function (e.g., overall role, assigned tasks)I was needed to participate in meetings, projects and any work our team had. I was in the role of a Business Analyst in training. This consisted of creating test scripts, requirements, and meeting with the business. I have been doing these selected works throughout the summer for 2 major projects that my team was and still is working on.
  2. Examples of projects (e.g., list the projects you worked on and what you accomplished)The migration of a service being moved from Oracle’s Siebel service into Adobe Campaigns web page. Another project I worked on was a complete rewrite of a Claims service that all retailers and employees of Subaru use daily.
  3. What you learned and how it relates to your major (e.g., describe what you learned from this experience in the context of specific courses)I have learned conceptual and analytical thinking throughout my internship. I also learned that school is not the same as work. Work is a lot more difficult and need to try harder. Having work experience will help me understand the class work more and I will be able to use my hardworking skills to improve my grades and school work. Conceptual and Analytical thinking will also help me discover what I will need to do for each assignment given to me
