Christopher Pittman's E-Portfolio

This summer I am taking an Internship at New Holland Apparel located in New Holland, PA. It is an apparel company and their main office and factory are located here in the United States. The other facilities are located in Honduras and Nicaragua. It is a family owned company that started off in Lingerie and has since moved on to become a sports apparel company. Some of their biggest clients are Reebok, Adidas, Dicks Sporting Goods, and Nike. More recently they acquired the new NFL Nike replica jerseys. I was even lucky enough to see a sneak peak of some of the jerseys. On the other hand, I will be working on the technical side here as an IT help desk intern. Constant communication is needed between the international facilities and it will be important that I ensure that all employees computers are up to date and they have the latest software to help them work more effective and efficiently.  This is my first internship and I look forward to enhancing my knowledge of the technical side of business as I moved forward with school and my career.
