Work Experience

Temple University Continuing Education Systems

Philadelphia, PA

I spent the summer after my sophomore year of college as a Junior Business Analyst at Continuing Education Systems. I started this internship in May shortly after classes ended. I got hands-on experience as a junior business analyst and professional experience. I learned a lot from this opportunity and I am very thankful I had the chance to spend my summer interning here. Some of the things I did at my internship include:

  • Completed business projects which involved scheduling and conducting client meeting, gathering systems requirements, and configuring a solution in DestinyOne, an Enterprise Resource Planning System used by 100+ noncredit programs.
  • Resolved functional users’ questions and problems and elevated issues to the vendor through formal bug reports when needed.
  • Trained program office faculty on using the system via in-person meetings and typed instructional guides.

UofL College of Business

Louisville, KYlouisville

I spent my freshmen year of college at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. The second semester of my freshmen year I got a job as a student assistant in the Dean’s Suite at the College of Business. I loved this position, but my time there came to an end when the school year ended and I cose to go a different way on my college path. Some of the tasks I accomplished while working here include:

  • Assisted the Dean and other professors in any errands they might’ve had to complete
  • Prepared for events such as the NorthWestern Mutual Fst Pitch Competition between 20 top students in the College of Business
  • Distributed mail throughout the college, organized the office, and greeted visitors
  • Increased the availability and efficiency of the Dean and other professors

In May of my freshmen year of high school, I got hired at this bagel shop near my house. 3 Men & a Bagel is a successful family-owned local business that now has three locations across the Lehigh Valley. I worked for this bake and deli shop all throughout my high school years until the month I left for college. Some of the daily responsibilities I had here include:

  • Catered to customers’ needs and resolved concerns
  • Assisted with store opening and closing procedures
  • Monitored and trained over 10 new employees
  • Handled monetary transactions averaging $1,000 in daily sales
  • Ensured smooth operations of the sho
