Dillon N. Patel
BBA in Finance & Management Information Systems, Fox School of Business, Temple University
Thank you for looking at my eportfolio! I grew up in Old Saybrook, CT and recently moved to Long Island, NY in 2015. I am currently a sophomore majoring in Finance and MIS. I am involved in three organizations: President of Sigma Beta Rho Fraternity Inc., Junior Analyst of Temple University’s Fox Fund, and a member of Temple University Investment Association. For the past two summers I have worked as a front desk agent at Water’s Edge Resort and Spa where I checked guests in/out using Maestro PMS, and assisted guests with issues and complaints. Alongside with that, I have been doing online marketing remotely for Relax Inn Motel in West Babylon, NY. I find myself to be self-motivated and detail-oriented. I strive when I am given a deadline. Time management is one of my stronger qualities, and I find myself able to balance projects and responsibilities with relative ease. I see myself thriving in a business analyst/project management role. I am an innovative, analytical thinker and look to use all of these skills and attributes to create seamless integration of technology into the business atmosphere. I chose finance and MIS as a dual major because it has a narrow focus but still allows you to explore a field that is dense with job opportunities.
