Earlier this year, I participated in the annual Target Case Competition with a team of my peers. The task of the case competition was to develop a more sustainable way for Target to produce gift cards. Target is currently the market leader in sustainable gift cards but they are constantly looking for new innovations that not only benefit their company but the communities in which they are located. As a part of the project my team created two SWOT analysis to compare Target’s current situation and Target’s situation if they were to implement newer more sustainable gift cards.
