What is ACME?
Acme Markets is one of the oldest super market chains in America. Founded in 1891 Acme mainly serves in Pennsylvania but also has locations in Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Maryland. Acme has 172 locations and their corporate headquarters is located in Malvern Pennsylvania.
My Role
I interned the summer of 2018 in their corporate operations division. I worked with eleven other interns. This was a 12-week full-time paid internship. As the corporate operations intern I had the opportunity to manage and learn from a store director on how to lead a multi-million-dollar retail operation. I managed the Eagle Acme in Chester Springs Pennsylvania.
