Good News! I will be joining the Department of Information & Decision Sciences at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, in July 2013.

I am a recent graduate of the doctoral program in the department Management Information Systems at the Fox School of Business, Temple University. I am a past University Fellow, I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Software, and I have a Master of Business Administration, both from the Michael G. DeGroote school of business at McMaster University.

My research interests pertain to the economics of information systems, with a particular focus on the drivers and implications of participant behaviour in marketplaces that incorporate social media, crowdsourcing and user generated content. My dissertation examined the incentives and influences that determine contribution behavior in crowdfunded markets. Portions of this work have been published and presented at a number of leading journals, conferences and workshops, including Information Systems Research (ISR), the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), the INFORMS Marketing Science Conference, the INFORMS Conference on Information Systems and Technology (CIST), the Academy of Management Annual Meeting (AoM), the Workshop on Statistical Challenges in e-Commerce Research (SCECR), and the Workshop on Health IT and Economics (WHITE).
