PBL – Temple Phi Beta Lambda is Temple University’s chapter of the Future Business Leaders ofAmerica (FBLA). It provides members with leadership opportunities and professional development to accomplish our primary goal of building leaders.
Best Buddies Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization that consists of volunteers who create opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I first became a member of this when I joined my high schools Best Buddies program. I became close friends with my buddy, a teenage girl with intellectual disabilities, and since then volunteering for this organization has become a passion of mine.
HootaThon HootaThon is Temple University’s Dance Marathon through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®. It’s goal is to raise money and awareness for the Child Life Department at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In the fall of 2015 I led a team of dancers. My team ended up raising the most money out of all of the student led teams.
