Hobbies and Interests
Dance:
I have been dancing since I was 3 years old. I find the art of dance a form of both relaxation and expression. The combination of both mind and body paired with composure makes for a fascinating experience. I’ve done most forms of dance including hip-hop, jazz, lyrical and tap and even competed on a hip-hop team throughout my high school years. In addition to participating in dance, I love watching dance shows such as, So You Think You Can Dance, where I can see others sharing their passion for dance just as I have.
Cooking:
Cooking is something that hasn’t always been a love of mine, but struck me in my sophomore year of high school when I began working at a local catering business. Here I learned various techniques and skills and, most importantly, a passion. I worked in the catering field for three years and continued to grow within the field. Ever since this experience, I have loved to cook. I cook for myself and my friends almost every night and really enjoy doing so.
Web Development:
During my Technical Development Application Program, I learned HTML, CSS and WordPress. These various skills have allowed me to create and play around with various design options within web development. As a Management Information Systems major, I will be taking courses that require some of these skills to further pursue them.
