Customer Service/ Sales
Over the summer of 2014, I interned in the customer service/sales department of Legrand. Here I entered orders into the DataWorks system, printed orders that came over online, and filed orders. In addition to entering orders I was required to make phone calls directly to customers, multiple times a day, in order to gather correct information on an order, and phone calls to our warehouses to ensure stock was available.
La Piastra
Caterer
From 2010-2012 I worked at a local catering company, La Piastra. Here I not only made and packaged food, but also served it at events such as weddings and banquets. I was also in charge of updating and maintaining our website and monthly newsletter to keep customers informed. Towards the end of my career here I helped create the customer loyalty program in the Point of Sale system that tracked customer purchases to allow them to gain points and in turn, free items.
