Time to expand
I wanted to explore other social media avenues so I created a Tumblr, check it out it’s named
My Life, My Story
#18:HashTracking.com
So I was exploring the new activities available for the course MIS3538: Social Media Innovation and came across this pretty cool site called HashTracking.com in which you can draw up a report and see hashtags from twitter through the site. The site is way more efficient than using the search in twitter, which is like asking to pull your hair out in my opinion. The site helped guide you through the process through letting you experiment with a small portion of the data it can collect and give you sample reports on what you could get and how to use it. If you use twitter for more than fun, than this is something you may want to check out. Just guess what hash tag I searched….. #AudiTT.. figure right?
It’s purple
So after my recent vandalism, I called my insurance company (Gieco), which after this terrible explerience I will be dropping after my coverage runs out, and filed a claim. Of all the insurance companies I’ve dealt with from accidents that were my fault to friends accidents to actually being hit myself I have to say that Gieco has to be one of the most unrealist companies. I informed them that both of my vehicle has been vandalized and gave them the police docket number and they wouldn’t work with me to get my car estimated. I explained that there was two vehicles and it was hard enough to get them somewhere to be fixed, yet take it to a shop to get estimated and then take it to get fixed but they were persistent in making me take the car to them! I scheduled an appointment to do so reluctantly and used most of my phone book to find available friends to take me and my cars but things didn’t work out. Gieco gave me a bunch of drama for not coming to the appointment even after I called their office and the estimators office to say I couldn’t make it, but I ended up telling them I took the car to the body shop in which they replied that they will estimate it when they can.
Just Terrible Service in my opinion.
Good news is that they are off to get fixed and should be back in a few weeks. My rental… a purple VW Passat (slow but rather comfy to drive).
So long for now!
Honda/Acura or VW/Audi?
Well this weekend starts the beginning of many shows to come this season.
For the Honda and Acura people. Honda day is being held Sat and Sun this weekend at Atco Raceway. More information can be found if you click the following link.

Too much of a good thing?
So yesterday morning I went outside to hop into my truck to head to the gym before work and discovered it had been key’d along with my TT. The thing is, whoever key’d my tt did me a HUGE favor seeing it had a suspect paint job, but my poor truck had to be part of the crime too!!!!!!
Welp they will both be off to paint first thing next week and I will try once again to update with some awesome pictures!
So much for the excitment
Well I planned on a post full of awesome pictures for you guys BUT that isn’t going to happen.
I had my car painted at Ramco Collision which used to be an old Maaco but I thought I would get a good job since I was brought in on a recommendation of a friend to the owner. Boy was I wrong, I was left with a car that was left with suspect paint missed spots, paint on my “show quality” exhaust. I returned to confront the owner and basically got a response to the tone of too bad. Bad business and if anyone considers this place I would urge you to consider again! All I have for now is a low quality picture from my phone that looks good but I will upload a few high quality shots later with the terrible paint job showing
Something to think about
“Number one thing about men is the key to their personality is directly related to their cars. Their cars are a big extension of their egos and by studying the types of cars a man likes to own and drive, you can understand the man!” -Austinstar
