Flickr: Photo Session

Flickr has recently unveiled a new feature called Photo Session which allows the user to share his/her flickr photos with family and friends in a chat-room based application. In Photo Session, up to 10 users are able to view, modify/draw, and chat in real-time. The Photo Session application works by first generating a link that the user can then share to his/her friends to invite them into the session.

Although this feature is quite simple, it allows for a closer interaction between friends and family. In addition, not only is this feature on one’s desktop but it is available for the iPad and the iPhone. Flickr is creating another way for photo-sharing between friends and family to be much more entertaining.
