FactSumo is a startup company based in Philadelphia. The company is the creator of the FactSumo application, an application that helps students learn math, foreign languages, as well as other basic concepts. In this startup environment, I worked in many different departments. I eventually settled in to the role of creating and managing the database of clients using SQL. Additionally, I tracked the site traffic and extracted monthly traffic reports from Google analytics to evaluate page performance and to simplify the process of website redesign. Learning and using SQL at FactSumo benefited me greatly in relation to my MIS major. I learned the basics of the language and applied those skills on a real project.
