PNC Business Systems Analyst Intern
During my 10 week internship at PNC bank I learned the duties of a business systems analyst. A BSA at PNC has to be able to fulfill business needs with technology. I worked on the change the bank side so we did a variety of different projects in my department of MIS Finance. My internship focused on database upgrades and data archiving. I worked on the documentation for these projects and got to work with the systems hands on.
PNC Bank is headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA and is the 8th largest bank in the US according to assets. PNC Bank has over 50,000 employees and over 2,500 branches nationwide. PNC bank is a financial technology company and invests heavily in their technology initiative, vision 13.
My role at PNC was very valuable and I learned a lot. I was placed on a project team of full-time associates that I worked with on a daily basis. The internship program also exposed me to multiple networking events, team building, and internship projects.
