IT Analyst
I will be working for Braskem America in its Philadelphia office. Braskem is a well-established, Brazilian-owned petrochemical manufacturer. I will be working as an IT Analyst, on the Project Delivery & Application Management team. The function of this team is to execute technical projects and provide business users assistance with various applications. As an IT Analyst, my role will be to manage IT-related projects that are intended to benefit the business. Some examples of projects that I have worked on during my time at Braskem include the implementation of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). These technologies benefit the business by saving time and reducing human errors. The knowledge and tools that I learned MIS 3535, which focuses on Project Management methodologies, will be extremely valuable as I take on this role.
