Career Objectives & Aspirations

I am interested in working for companies that are in but not limited to the tech field or automotive industry. These are two examples of my passions and feel as if I can contribute greatly if I work in either of these two environments.  Working with multiple forms of technology, discovering how they function and how they can best utilized to maximize their purpose is something that I enjoy doing. I am interested in managing computer systems and servers and hopefully becoming to hold a high-level position in a successful company. I am looking for career opportunities that provide hands-on experience that also collaborates with team players. I would like to get involved in business analyst work as well. Working on a team with other people and coming together to solve the issue on hand is something else that I enjoy doing.

Currently, I am a Project Manager co-op student at Philadelphia Gas Works. I have been working throughout the summer and fall semester and am continuing into the spring semester to have one year of project management experience by May 2017. I have learned a lot in my experience by helping my mentor on her projects and eventually taking on some on my own. Some projects that I am working on include Four Winds, RiskMaster, Azavea, and Cashier for Windows. Four Winds is a Corporate Communications project where 19 content players and televisions have been hung up throughout Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) premises. RiskMaster is a tool to collaborate work between the Risk and Legal departments at PGW. Azavea is a community outreach tool for Corporate Communications to gain a better understanding of the neighborhood. Lastly, Cashier for Windows is a newly started project that is a hardware and software upgrade for customers paying their gas bills.

I anticipate to move out to the Los Angeles metropolitan area upon graduating from Temple University to begin my career. I am interested in project management, cyber security, auditing, and networking.
