In my years here at Temple University, I engaged in courses such as Data Centric Applications, and Data Analytics that have really impacted my drive to be a management information systems major. These courses have showed me how important it is to have technology in a company, which is so information can be shared in every corner of a company, with the least amount of issues. When information is analyzed correctly and thoroughly, it can bring major profit to a company because they know exactly what their customers needs are. The standard is to meet the customers needs, but with these courses at the Fox Business School, it is now possible to go far above and beyond what the customers needs are, and wow them.
I have also taken finance, financial accounting, operations management, and risk management here at Temple. These courses helped me to understand how a business handles its assets, how it lowers hazards and liabilities to maximize value, and how to manage products and personnel effectively to lower costs. With these courses that the Fox School had to offer, I was able to truly understand the ins and outs of a business, and how to manage money in a way that is profitable.
