Background, Skills, and Goals
Background
I grew up in Doylestown, Pennsylvania with my parents and four sisters. I attended Archbishop Wood High School from 2010-2014. While in high school, I was a varsity member of the girls’ cross country team for all four years. Other favorite activities of mine included basketball, reading, tutoring, and hanging out with friends.
When it came time for me to apply for college, I had very little idea of where I wanted to go and what I wanted to major in. I had always enjoyed learning about law and history, and I hoped to go to law school someday. However, when it came to picking an undergraduate college/major, I was lost. My Dad and older sister both went to Temple, and encouraged me to apply. I agreed, but I was slightly hesitant, because I was intimated by the idea of a large, urban university.
When I went to Experience Temple Day, I was hooked. Specifically, I was hooked by the Fox School of Business. I loved the energy, passion, and drive of the students. I started to realize that Fox was a school that trained leaders and visionaries. As I spoke to current students and recent alumni, I realized that I wanted to have their confidence and excitement.
I started my academic career at Temple in Fall 2014, and I’ve loved it ever since.
