JobFairX Career Fair
This career fair, although small-scale, was able to expand my network to companies I wouldn’t think to work for initially. Hosted at the Marriott, the event was a traditional job fair with several booths occupied by company representatives looking for employees. This event is interesting to an MIS professional because a network is necessary to secure employment in the MIS field. I learned from this event that proactive networking will result in a higher employment likelihood post-graduation.
