I had the opportunity to work for Temple University Recycling Center for over 15 weeks. During this period, I had an opportunity to learn about laptop and computer hardwares, peripherals, printers ,media and other electronic accessory.
- Tested 10 desktop screens daily
- Removed hard drives and wiped the memory of hard drives
- Sorted Hard drives by capacity and applied them on computers
- Took off the RAM cards and sorted by type, such as PC2, PC3
- Applied Rams to computers
- Assembled computers accessories such as disk drives, graphic cards
- Cleaned computer motherboard
- Operated internal database for items that are sold or came in
- Sorted and tested peripherals, such as VGA, DVI, HDMI and LAN Cables
- Tested and assembled printers
- Operated degausser for tapes
- Tested media, such as projectors
- Disassembled servers and swiches
