Cars
Currently I own a 2000 Jeep Wrangler (soft top.) I learned to drive stick in the Jeep.
I had owned a 1994 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am (5.7L V8) which I purchased in the Fall of 2013. It was in rough shape when I purchased it and I spent a lot of time and money fixing it up. From basic maintenance to more complicated part replacements. My Dad and I slowly fixed the car up. In order to help fix the engine, I used my laptop and a program to data log the car’s PCM. Through this I’ve learned to analyze the data and how each sensor reading influences the PCM to make changes to air, fuel, spark, timing, etc. I’ve also had to replace some interior parts and take care of rust spots forming on the floor pans.
Before the Trans Am, I owned a 1998 Eagle Talon ESi (2.0L I4 non-turbo) which I performed basic maintenance and up-keep on while fixing small interior issues.
Hockey
I’ve been playing and watching hockey since I was about 7 years old. As a kid I was a prolific scorer and overall great player at the YMCA (roller hockey) and summer ice hockey leagues. Now I play in the men’s league at Oaks Center Ice and focus my game more on passing and working with my teammates while still being among the league leaders in points. I also play with a team first attitude, rarely taking penalties, getting back on defense, and not putting my team in a bad position. I’ve learned how to work with others to accomplish things through hockey.
Xbox
I spent most of high school playing on Xbox Live with friends. Our favorite games were Gears of War and the NHL series. I’ve put countless hours into not only online multiplayer, but also offline single player campaigns. While I do not play as much as I did in high school, I did purchase an Xbox One on launch day (at midnight) and continue to play with my friends. I am the captain and general manager of our EA Sports Hockey League (EASHL) club, The Phish Tacos. EASHL is an online mode where you create a team and play with your friends in games up to 6 vs 6.
