Staff I Consultant
- EisnerAmper LLP is a Mid-size Accounting/Consulting Firm located at Logan Square in Philadelphia, PA, and I will be working in the Process, Risk and Technology Solutions (“PRTS”) Practice Group.
- My role is to perform departmental or functional area risk assessments across a variety of industries. Some tasks include assisting with documenting the internal control environment (including IT) by walking through various processes, performing testing controls (entity level, process/activity level, and computing controls), and preparing the documentation for the results of testing and analysis.
- I have learned technologies and techniques through Temple’s MIS program that will help me succeed in my future position. These include understanding the basics of internal controls and being able to analyze a system to create a useful analysis that will enable me to create solutions with the technology. All of the classes that I took helped prepare me for the working world, however, some classes that helped the most include Enterprise IT Architecture with Professor Doyle, Digital Solutions Studio with Professor Sclarow, and Information System Integration with Professor Lanter.
