Dance. When I was 14 years old, I signed up for hip-hop dance classes out of boredom. Ever since then it became one of my passions. Throughout my dance career, I have trained with many hip-hop dancers, from LA to NY, to learn the techniques of various forms of dancing, breaking, whacking, and popping, just to name a few. I have attended many workshops and even took up salsa dancing at one point. I auditioned and became part of a newly found dance company, I AM PHRESH. Though I have moved on from dancing to pursue a different career path I am more passionate about, dance and my dance family are still near and dear to my heart.
Food. I love trying different ethnic foods. I was raised all my life eating Vietnamese food and I still cannot get enough. It’s my favorite (Biased? Maybe). My taste buds seem to like a variety, whether it is Bolivian, Bengali, or Ethiopian foods, I’m down for it all. Some day I would like to travel the world just to taste what foods that country is famous for. And if you were wondering, YES, I do love the Food Network and Cooking channel.
