Voluteer Work & Personal Interest
VOLUNTEER WORK:
Throughout my college career I always wanted to give back the local community. I attended Roman Catholic High School (RCHS) which is located in the heart of Center City Philadelphia. Me and three other Temple Students started a foundation called “A FEW GOOD MEN FOUNDATION” which sought to offer underprivileged students a quality education and mentor-ship at RCHS. Working with the alumni director of the school we had established events that would be sustainable for the future. Our primary segments were the student body, alumni, and local community. We got the students involved by donating money for a dress down day. The alumni got involved by coming to the 1ST ANNUAL A FEW GOOD MEN FOUNDATION BEEF & BEER. Also we got the local business community to donate there state taxes to our foundation. All together this foundation will enable young students to have the quality education they deserve.
PERSONAL INTEREST:
My personal interest has always been in sports. Throughout my college career staying busy was a priority. By participating in Cross Country, Swimming, & Boxing I realized that this is not only something I do for scholarship money, but something I thoroughly enjoy. My interest in sports have brought a competitive edge that not only was great for the sport, but also has enhanced my competitiveness for everyday activities.
