Gardening
For my graduation I had to complete a senior project I choose to do volunteer hours. I volunteered at my former elementary school, Union Canal. There I helped Ms. MIller, a first grade teacher, to rebuild and maintain the garden at the school. This garden was used to help teach the students of the elementary school about plants and also butterflies. We planted plants that are known to have an abundance of butterflies attracted to them. Once my hours were I completed I decided to keep going back and helping because of how much fun I had. I also liked knowing that something I was doing would help for young children to learn. I go back and help whenever I can during my summer break and also on some weekends as well.
