About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Melissa Aguilar-Ramirez and I transferred to Temple University in the Spring of 2013.

I graduated from Harrisburg Area Community College on December 15, 2012 with an Associates Degree in Business Administration. I am now a Senior in the Fox School of Business at Temple University with an expected graduation date of May 2015. I am pursuing a BBA in  Management Information Systems with a Digital Marketing Minor.  I am looking for  hands-on opportunities in the IT field. I have chosen MIS because in today’s world to run any organization smoothly, leaders need strong technological skills in order to be advantageous in the business world.

I am very involved with the International Business Association.  As Director of Public Relations, I am responsible for promoting the IBA’s image along with planning for professional development events.

It is important to me that I help out in my community and enjoy spending my free time volunteering for different organizations.  I also like to spend my time being outdoors doing things such as running, hiking, and biking.
