An example of how data can be stored in different formats is with currency. An American based company that does business internationally may have to change the currency format from other countries to the American dollar format, and vice versa. This problem can be solved using the Currency function in Excel to format all data into the same currency.

For a ride-sharing company, a join can be used to combine the Driver table and Rating table. You can join these tables to figure out the first and last name of drivers who have received an average rating above 4 stars on a 1-5 scale. This information could help to determine which drivers are satisfying customers.
