One example I can think of is the Fitbit. It allows us to track the distance we have walked each day. By using this data, we can determine how much exercise we get on a daily basis and can use anything above the average to ascertain an increase in exercise and increased benefit to our health. This can be very beneficial when planning a exercise plan.
