George A Varghese commented on the post, “Can I Be Honest With You?” [First Date Comedy Skit], on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
Besides it being very awkward, lol, it would be cool to read people’s minds but it could be very detrimental. I can definitely seeing myself wishing I didn’t have this ability and going back to thinking ignorance is bliss.

George A Varghese commented on the post, Discussion Question: Twitter verifies the accounts of fictional characters, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
I do think that Twitter should verify fictional characters just because if there are so many fictional characters being created, I feel like people will turn away from it and Twitter will lose its value. To […]

George A Varghese commented on the post, Facebook wrist bands in Ibiza, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
I like the idea but I don’t see myself doing something like that when I go out. Those wristbands are too big and look really heavy and those are just to “check-in”? I think I’m with my classmates that the use of […]

George A Varghese commented on the post, Presentation: What Should We Call Me?, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
It’s crazy how a joke turned to be a site enjoyed by millions and profitable as well. It just goes to show that turning an opportunity into a successful business idea can be achieved by anybody.

George A Varghese commented on the post, Mobile Lorm Glove, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
I see this as a break through in technology and helping deaf-blind people makes it amazing. I’m with Benny on the confusion of how this works but it’s cool to see that a tech product helps people live lives people […]

George A Varghese commented on the post, Presentation: Granny caught dealing drugs, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
I have heard numerous stories of senior citizens selling drugs and this is just one of many. A grandmother selling drugs is quite entertaining and it just shows how futile this billion dollar war on drugs really is.

George A Varghese commented on the post, Which Social Network Should You Use — and When?, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
Cool infographic. Caught my attention from beginning to end and the use of each site’s colors was pretty sick. Viewers can definitely learn some things about social networks that they didn’t know before and the […]

George A Varghese commented on the post, Presentation: IKEA, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
This video is pretty funny and I think every college student has a negative but memorable experiences with IKEA products. I like how it saves space but I think its only necessary if you live in a studio or small […]

George A Varghese commented on the post, Discussion Question: Do you wish you learned more about financial literacy at an earlier age?, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
I agree with Kenny that teachers should teach financial literacy at a younger age rather than teaching them what time will two trains reach a station if they are traveling at different speeds. Teaching them to […]

George A Varghese commented on the post, Time-Saving Apple Touchscreen secrets, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
This video has a lot of great tips for the iPad. It’s kind of annoying how Apple doesn’t have its own video on how to use their product but other people do.

George A Varghese commented on the post, EXP.VID, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
That’s pretty funny considering I had to do a video for my CIS class this semester too but it had nothing to do with technology. It was about creating a video of a certain area in Philadelphia.

George A Varghese commented on the post, Mexico’s Drug Lord Thanks US Presidents, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
We are wasting billions of tax dollars fighting this useless war on drugs. However, I don’t approve Forbes putting him on the list of world’s richest people. Drug lords don’t file tax returns and have bank […]

George A Varghese commented on the post, $1 felony…is this fair or just absurd?, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
I worked at the Linc during eagles games so I encountered situations like this here and there. Luckily there are lots of security personnel to dissolve any disputes and rowdy fans.

George A Varghese commented on the post, EXP.ONBOARD : Instagram, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
The texture differences Instagram makes is pretty impressive. It’s cool that an app has the ability to do that throught the simple use of filters.

George A Varghese commented on the post, EXP.ONBOARD, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
I think Facebook wanted to fully integrate Instagram into their site as opposed to it being a third party. It’s similar to what Google did to Youtube, slowly trying to take over everything.

George A Varghese commented on the post, Bonus Event – Fox IT Awards, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
I wish I came to the actual banquet but I had a mandatory class I couldn’t miss. I’ve been going to the IT Awards almost every year and it’s always a great time. It just sucks that I had to miss my final one as an undergrad.

George A Varghese commented on the post, Is there such a thing as too small?, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
I like Apple products but I am not a fan mutliple upgrades (which are minimal at best) within two years time. Not to mention, they are highly overpriced than their competitors. But nevertheless, people still buy […]

George A Varghese commented on the post, Twitter Initial Public Offering, on the site MIS3538 Spring '12 participation hub 1 year ago
I am excited for Twitter but I feel as though it won’t be valued very high let alone as high as Facebook but you never know. I just hope it doesn’t end up like Groupon, over valued and struggling.
