    1. Clustering and classification is when you sort data into different groups. Clustering is when you put the data into thought out groups, and can be ambiguous. Classification is when you put the items into categories.

    Data mining is extracting the useful parts of databases. It is finding information that was not previously used but could be useful in the present and future. Data mining is not anything like analyzing sales or profits.

    The key objectives include extracting data from the operational data store, then transform and load it into the dimensional database.

    The key issues are data consistency and quality. There are plenty of errors that could be made, such as not having everything done complete and in the right format, etc.

    Business intelligence is the use of technology to identify, extract, and analyze business data. Sales revenue, costs, and incomes are the most common information found. Using technology to do the process of forecasting is also a very common occurrence used by businesses as well.
