Running
In 2014, I successfully completed the Broad Street Run. It was an amazing experience running with 40,000 runners through the heart of Philadelphia. I finished the run with a time of 1 hour and 35 minutes. I have also completed several 4.5 mile runs. I look forward to keep running actively in hopes of completing the Philadelphia Marathon in the near future.
Cycling
In the summer of 2014, I cycled 64 miles from the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia to Lincoln University. A group of men from my church formed a cycling club and this was our first long distance ride together. Our journey consisted of riding through the Schuylkill River Trail, the Chester Valley Trail and the picturesque hills of Chester County. To say the ride was hard work would be an understatement. I pushed my body physically and mentally in ways I couldn’t imagine.
