Hello everybody,

For one of the intermediate platform tasks, we were required to add 5 different widgets to our blogs. As you can see from the right hand side of my blog, I have added 5 new widgets. These widgets are:

• Blogroll
• Tags
• Categories
• Meta
• My Calendar

I added the blogroll widget so that my readers could have a list of links about me that were available to them. Check out the sites that I linked to in order to learn more about me.

Both the tags and categories widgets are there to help organize my blog and make it easier for my readers to find content. Through tags, they can find specific content of blog posts and through categories, they can find the topics of specific blog posts.

The Meta widget is there simply because it gives you a quick way to log in while on my page.

Finally, the calendar widget shows which dates I made posts on. Readers can use this widget to find out what I posted on a certain date.
