Hey Guys,

I am sure many of you have already seen this video, but for those of you that haven’t then be ready to laugh. This video was first posted back in July 2010 by schmoyoho. Since then, it has had over 90 million views! The guys that made the video are known for taking original content which usually include news broadcasts and interviews and using autotune to turn them into songs. It is amazing how such a simple idea can generate so much publicity. They have many other entertaining videos, so check those out too!

Also, I forgot to mention that there is a application for the Iphone/Itouch called Songify. I do not know if it is available anywhere else, but it is a fun little app where you too, can autotune yourself and make a song with the background music that comes with the application.

Here is a video that I just created at xtranormal. When you guys are making your own videos, be careful because there is a fee involved when you would like to use some of the more expensive backgrounds and avatars. The video that I made was suppose to take place at a club, but I went over the amount of free Xtranormal points that you receive when you first make an account, so I had to settle for a sauna… Anyways, it isn’t much but, take a look at it and let me know what you guys think. Basically a guy tries to pick up a girl at a sauna (the club was too expensive), but finds that there is a problem with her in the end.

YouTube is a place where many try to make a name for themselves and become stars. If you watch some channels where people make new videos daily, you start to wonder if they have anything else to do besides make videos. Some people don’t realize that sometimes, YouTube is a full time job for them. YouTube has a partner program where YouTubers can become partners and make money doing what they love to do. Becoming a partner is easy, but its the getting your viewer count up part that is difficult. Partners make their money based on the amount of views that they get and how many of those viewerss are clicking on those ads and watching them. Because of that, it is difficult to determine how much YouTubers are making, but sites such as TubeMogul have determined that some of them are making six figs. That is a pretty good for just making videos all day, some people would love to do that as a full time job, but once again no one really knows the exact amount because for those that are not doing it, are just estimating how much they are making. If you are hoping to make this a full time job as well then I wish you the best of luck because the top YouTube earners have over a million subscribers and millions of views on each of their videos.

YouTube has hundreds of different videos being posted each day. It is tough to keep up with what videos are worth watching. In this blog, I will be posting links to various videos and channels that are most popular on YouTube. It will also be a place where you guys can share your comments and thoughts on these videos. You may also ask me to post videos that you may find interesting or entertaining as well.
