Tonecapone sampled two records to make ‘I Got 5 on It.’ Tonecapone sampled Kool & the Gang’s ‘Jungle Boogie’ and Club Nouveau’s ‘Why you Treat Me So Bad.’ The Club Nouveau’s sample and the Kool & the Gang’s sample appears at 0:03 mark and throughout the record.
