Background

I was born in Queens, New York; my family moved around and settled in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. When I came to Temple, I actually was a chemistry major. After realizing how boring lab was, I switched to the Fox School of Business. My professor in the prerequisite MIS class, who still is a huge influence, convinced me to switch into MIS and here I am.

My goals in life and why hire me

My goals in life are pretty simple; I want to find a job that gives me happiness. I truly believe that if the company’s culture relates to mine and I have a fun time while working there, everything else, such as salary and growth will eventually follow. When it comes to my skills, I believe that one should excel in soft skills. In a world where social media and technology has taken over, the art of talking has been lost. I like to believe my soft skills are better than the average person. Working at Starbucks has helped my anxiety to talking with people, which has helped me in school and possibly my future. As someone who is pursuing a job like a project manager or business analyst, the soft skills are the most important, because I need to connect to the client and employees in order to get the most useful information. Other than my soft skills, I do know some programming languages, such as HTML, PHP, and Javascript.
