In July of 2013, I was invited to attend the Vanguard eXplore program. This program was exclusive one day events held at Vanguard headquarter in Malvern, PA. The program was comprised of interactive activities and training sessions aimed at developing teamwork, strategic thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and leadership skills. At this event I networked with Vanguard professionals and college recruiters. I learned about the investment profession and retirement fund management. I had the opportunity to learn about future employment opportunities at the firm and meet some of the top performing students in the Greater Philadelphia area and surrounding counties.
In June of 2013, while studying abroad in Vietnam I was invited to explore HSBC bank. This program was exclusive one day events held at HSBC headquarter in Ho Chi Ming, Vietnam. The program encompassed interactive activities and training sessions aimed at developing teamwork, strategic thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and leadership skills. At this event I networked with HSBC professionals and college recruiters. I learned about the banking profession and loan management. I had the opportunity to learn about future employment opportunities at the firm and meet some of the top performing students in Vietnam and surrounding countries.
